The-Dream is wasting no time with dropping fresh material in the new year. The hitmaker has unleashed “ROC,” the lead single from his anticipated fourth album The Love, IV: Diary of a Madman.
Since his recent interview with Tim Westwood as released Dream has been vocal about his statements about R&B vs. Pop.
“Built careers off of a regenerated R&B resurgence only to watch it used and taken to Pop and now ……. Nothing. Remember who said it…..If it goes Number one on the pop charts its not R&B! Check the stats on all R&B. We (radiokilla) don’t mind stickin to the lovers and slow..” he tweeted yesterday.
The Dream does make a great statement about R&B once it goes Pop its gone. Even though Dream can’t sing I think he maybe one of the best song writers since R. Kelly. This track is solid proof of that.

Legendary VA MC Skillz does it again with the rap up 2012. This actually makes 10 years of Rap Ups (Time Flys Right ?) He covers everything from Heavy D’s death to Ray J and Fabolous arguing. From the beginning of the year with the Royal Wedding to Kobe’s divorce. In time this will probably be a notable piece of history and archeological artifact. I know i’m reaching but hey its possible anyways check it out !
